If your SmartThings compatible speaker is not found during the setup process, try the following steps:
- Ensure that your phone/tablet with the SmartThings app is less than 10m/33ft from the speaker during initial set-up.
- Make sure your speaker is plugged into power and the LED display lights up.
- If the LED display is not turning on, reset the product to its factory settings.
- Once reset, try setting the speaker up again.
- Power cycle your speaker. Restarting your speaker will often help resolve the issue with products not showing up during the setup.
- Unplug the power cord.
- Wait for about 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and make sure that the speaker is powering up.
- Temporarily relocate your product by moving the speaker closer to your router.
- If your speaker is able to connect in this new location, the original location may be too far from the router to maintain a stable connection.
- Use a different mobile device.
- If the error persists, try using a different device that has the SmartThings app installed and is connected to your speaker.
