To have the best possible performance for OMNI+ system we advise to have a dual-band router with a powerful chipset and ram for best Wi-Fi performance. This will not only help our products to perform better and more stable, but your other devices at home will have more power and fewer interruptions. Please also be sure that your home Wi-Fi router has Multicast enabled, as our Omni+ system requires this feature enabled in order to work (same goes for Chromecast devices). The Vi headphones have a couple different sensors, including a touch sensor (for interacting with Vi), a gyroscope (for rotational motion), accelerometer (for movement or vibrations) and a barometer (for elevation / atmospheric pressure). Plus they house a “custom” sensor that uses visible-light and infrared LEDs along with photodiodes, all in the left ear bud, to determine your heart rate. All AVR models up to and including 151S, 161S and 171S feature HDCP version 1.4. (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). This is also true for BDS 280, 580, 280S and 580S. There are a couple of things that you will need to install your Harman Kardon Allure speaker. 1. Amazon account (US, UK or Germany are the only ones supported now). 2. An Android device (Android 6.x and up) or Apple device (iOS 9.3 and up). 3. A Wi-Fi network with UPnP enabled. 4. Our HK Alexa setup app from the App store. HDCP (High Definition Copy Protection) 2.2 will become mandatory for 4K/UHD content only. First source should be the 4K BD player announced at IFA for spring 2016 from Samsung. In case of HDCP 2.2, the whole chain needs to be compatible to work from source to AVR to TV. If one of the devices in the chain is not HDCP 2.2-compliant, the player will downscale the content to 1080p. No black screen. This is the theory, anyway. HDCP 2.2 is copy-protection, so it does not decode the signal, but is concerned with preserving the content from being copied and distributed on the internet. The problem of HDCP 2.2 is that it is hardware-based, and not software-based, so there is nothing we can do on our existing models, like any other AVR manufacturer or TV. Please note that self-produced 4K material is no problem, since self-produced material has no digital HDCP copy protection. Only streamed material and UHD-Blu-ray will not work, since the HDCP protection will stop the signal in the receiver.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

If you experience a problem with setup using an Android 7.0 or higher device, please perform the following steps: First, force stop the HK Controller app from running in background. Second, go to your phone or tablet Wi-Fi settings, find the Omni speaker setup Wi-Fi network, and select “Forget Network”.Third, reopen the HK Controller app and begin the setup process again. No, that is not possible. However, you can create a 5.1 wireless surround system to extend your TV or movie sound. All you need is two additional OMNI+ speakers, such as 2 x OMNI 10+, OMNI 20+ or OMNI 50+.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

In most cases when a Computer/PC/Laptop has issues connecting to a Bluetooth device (Portable speaker, Headphones, Active speakers), it's caused by your Computer/PC/Laptop's Bluetooth driver (software).
The driver (software) should support the following Bluetooth protocols, to be able to play music/sound from your Computer/PC/Laptop:
• A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) driver for your Computer/PC/Headphones to transfer music.
• AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) driver to send skip/forward/pause/play music to your device
Always get the latest driver version available for your Computer/PC/Laptop.
To download the correct driver (software), visit the manufacturer's website of your Computer/PC/Laptop. They usually have a "Support/Download" section where you can find the correct driver. Otherwise, we advise you to contact their support.

- Try to disconnect some devices from your Wi-Fi network. Some routers may have weak performance, which can cause issues and poor connection to all devices in your network. - If your router supports 5Ghz ( 802.11N or AC ) and you have devices that are capable of using 5 GHz Wi-Fi then switch to that specific network for best performance. - If you have a lot of ( Legacy / older than 5 years ) devices on 2.4GHz network, try limiting them to max. 6 connected simultaneouslyWas this helpful?
