The ALLURE PORTABLE is not constantly looking for a wi-fi system. When you turn the unit on, it finds the wi-fi, connects, and begins working. When you move into another section with a different router, the ALLURE PORTABLE will no longer be connected. You will have to turn the ALLURE PORTABLE off and then back on again, so that it can find it's new wi-fi router.

Please note that the AUX source supports a variety of input connections. By pressing the AUX button on the remote several times, the input toggles between the different audio inputs. Please press the remote control AUX button repeatedly, until the front display shows the correct input source. The speaker is IPX5 certified, it can withstand direct splashes from any direction for up to 3 minutes. Although a little snow or rain won't hurt it, we do not recommend keeping the speaker outside during rain and/or snow. Also be aware of extreme hot or cold temperatures, they may be damaging.

To connect and play music from a second source device using multi-point connection, simply press the Bluetooth button and connect to the product in the settings of the source device.

When using multi-point connection and switching between iOS, Android and Windows, there may be no music output or a delay in music playback. To resolve this issue, it is always recommended to pause or stop music playback on one Computer/PC/Laptop before multi-point switching to another device (Phones, Tablets) for music playback.

If the issue persists, we recommend to restart both the product and the Computer/PC/Laptop.

You can create a multi-room setup using Chromecast built-in™ or Airplay, linking to other speakers with the same feature including the Harman Kardon Citation Series.

The Aura only goes from sleep mode to stand-by mode if you either press Power Off, or leave the Aura inactive for 30 minutes with no wifi connection established. Please note that the power light dims when Aura enters sleep mode, but extinguishes completely in stand-by mode. Please note that in both Sleep and Standby modes, Bluetooth remains active, and Aura will wake up if BT transmission is received.

To use the speaker as PC speaker, please make sure your PC supports our Bluetooth specifications and specifically A2DP Codec for Stereo Audio streaming

There are five possible reasons for the receiver shutting down. 1. There is a problem internally with the receiver. 2. There is a problem with one or more of your speakers. 3. There is a problem with one or more of your speaker wires. 4. There is a problem with the speaker wiring done on your system. 5. The unit is overheating. No ventilation. First, check the wiring at every speaker terminal at the back of your receiver and at the back of your speakers. A single strand of speaker wire crossing from one terminal to another would be enough to cause the amp to shut down or go into PROTECT. If you do not find any problems with any of the wiring, you should disconnect all speakers from your receiver. If the receiver continues to go into PROTECT, the problem is in the receiver. Please submit a case on the Contact Us page. They will be able to assist you. However, if it turns on, the problem is elsewhere. Begin reconnecting one speaker at a time. Eventually you will connect a speaker that will cause the receiver to shut down. At this point you have found your culprit. On the other hand, it may just be overheating. You must have at least 2 - 3 inches of space between the top of the unit and any shelf or component above the unit. The unit should not be inside a sealed compartment when being used. The unit must be able to breath. There are very powerful amps in these receivers. If they run too hot, they will shut down. An external fan can help this.

If you have enabled HDMI-link (CEC function), then you will experience that your AVR will do some actions based on the CEC function coming from your TV, which in this case it will follow your TV when it goes into standby.

Yes, playlists in these BDS units have an upper limit of 100 files.

We always recommend to use the online updating tool inside BDS, as it is connected directly to our server and if new software are available, it will be there first. We are trying to update our website as quickly as possible.

This can be caused by many things. It could be obstacles between your device and router, or that your device has been placed too far away. To enhance the WiFi signal for your BDS, please make sure to place the included antenna on its threaded socket, then try search for any WiFi network again. If this still does not work, try moving your BDS closer to the router until connection is established, ensuring that the BDS WiFi network module is working. If nothing happens, the network module of the BDS or your router have a problem. In case you need more help, contact our support for more tips.

Make sure your home network's Internet connection is active and the Citation speaker is placed within Wi-Fi range. If you are using a Wi-Fi extender, your speaker may be confused which network to connect to. If this is happening, try moving the speaker closer to the main router and renaming the Wi-Fi extender.

Fortunately the Go+Play in all versions is made with this problem in mind. One of the feet is adjustable. Look at the four feet. One is different from the others. You can insert a 3mm hex key into the center hole in it, then loosen the foot insert and unscrew it until the unit is steady. The adjustable insert may stick a little, so exert a steady, firm pressure to get it loose if this is the case.

The Go+Play Wireless must be in Standby to be able to switch On when receiving a signal. This function uses a small amount of power, and cannot be switched off. Remove batteries when not in use for more than 2 weeks to prevent power draining.

If your Wi-Fi network name has special characters, such as (, `, \, ', ", or ), then please change the name of your Wi-Fi network, as these characters are not supported. After changing the name, you can go ahead and setup the speaker to your Wi-Fi network.

Dual band routers that have 2.4 and 5 GHz connection bands. If devices connect on different bands, they cannot see one another. Please make sure your phone and speakers are both connected to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and that there is no AP isolation activated between them.

One explanation can be that your OMNI 50+ is part of a 5.1 system with your Omni Bar, which will make the surround OMNI 50+ left and right rear speakers act as "secondary", and Bluetooth connection is not possible to secondary speakers. To use the OMNI 50+ as a portable speaker again, simply perform a reset of the speaker by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds. Please note that after resetting your OMNI 50+, it is no longer part of the 5.1 wireless system.

1. Ensure that your Harman Kardon One app device is less than 10m/33ft from the speaker during the initial set-up.
2. Ensure it is plugged into power and the power LED is illuminated.
3. Unplug the power cord, wait 10 seconds, reconnect the power cord and allow the speaker to power up.
4. Temporarily relocate either the speaker or router so that they are closer together. If the connection succeeds, the original location may be too far from the router to maintain a stable connection.
5. Try using a different device with the Harman Kardon ONE app installed and connected to your home network.
