On the bottom of your ADAPT+ there is a reset button. Hold it down for 5 seconds, until the round button LED lights up in white. The product is now reset and ready to be set up again.

Resetting the device

1. In any source mode, press and hold the power button and Source button for 5 seconds.
2. When the factory settings restore is complete, the soundbar automatically turns off and restarts.
3. You can now set it up via Google Home app again or connect any new Bluetooth devices.

Setting an alarm

• Press alarm button once - the screen displays "ADD"
• Press Snooze button
• Set alarm time hours (use up/down arrow buttons)
• Press Snooze button
• Set alarm time minutes (use up/down arrow buttons)
• Set alarm repeat mode: ONCE, WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS or EVERYDAY (use up/down arrow buttons)
• Press Snooze button - the screen displays "DONE"
• Alarm is now set

Deleting an alarm

• Press alarm button repeatedly until the desired alarm is shown
• Press Snooze button - display shoes "Deleted"

What you need first

Adding your Enchant soundbar to your Wi-Fi

1. Open the Google Home app

      

2. Click on "ADD" to connect your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar to your Wi-Fi network.
3. Follow the instructions on screen and enjoy beautiful sound using Chromecast technology.

The Citation product with Airplay 2, use an iOS feature named Wireless Accessory Configuration (WAC), which is the easiest way to set up Wi-Fi for iPhone users. If you want to set up AirPlay with WAC and set up Google Assistant later, you can follow the below instructions.

1. Go into the Wi-Fi settings on the iPhone/iPad
2. Select the speaker you want to set up AirPlay under “SET UP NEW AIRPLAY SPEAKER...” on the lower part of the display.
3. Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect this speaker to, then press Next. This should normally be the same network your phone is connected to, which will appear as the default option.
4. The speaker will connect to the Wi-Fi network. Press Done to finish the setup.
5. After setup is successful. You can tap the Airplay symbol in Control Center or from your favorite audio streaming app to use AirPlay from your iPhone and iPad.

Note:

• If you don’t see the correct Wi-Fi network, make sure that the speaker is in range of the Wi-Fi router or access point.
• If your iPhone or iPad has never connected to this Wi-Fi network before, you will need to enter the Wi-Fi password at this time. Most users will not need to enter this password.
• If you cannot see your speaker under “SET UP NEW AIRPLAY SPEAKER...”, unplug and plug in power again to start it again.

Download the Google Home app, available for iOS and Android versions. 1. Open the Google Home app. 2. Plug in power for your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 3. Enable Bluetooth. 3.1. Enable Location service on your phone and permit Google Home app to view your location (Android only). 4. Click setup device in your Google Home app. 5. Follow the instructions provided in the app, and enjoy Chromecast streaming for your Enchant soundbar!

Before you start

• Remove any interference that might be blocking the Soundbar side-firing speakers.
• Any ambient noise or sounds that could disrupt the calibration needs to be out of the room.
• In case you are moving the Enchant Soundbar you will need to calibrate the sound again.
• If something went wrong, you can always delete the calibration settings by resetting the system.
  • Press and hold button and  button down for 5 seconds.
  • This will delete all settings, including the Wi-Fi connection.

How to use the MultiBeam feature

1. Press and hold the CALIBRATION button for 3 seconds.
   1. On the Enchant display a timer will start counting down from 3 to 0 (Once hitting 0 the Calibration will begin).

2. The calibration takes around 60 seconds before it is complete. While calibrating you will hear some noises coming from the speaker.
3. When finished the display on the Enchant Soundbar will say "DONE"

 

The power on/off symbol/button will flash white consistently. The LED switches to OFF when charging is complete.

We do not recommend using WEP encryption method, as this can leave your Wi-Fi vulnerable to outside threats. Our OMNI+ does not support this encryption type, we are supporting WPA and up.

Make sure you disable AP/Client isolation on your Access Point / Extender and that Multicast forwarding is not disabled between the W-Fi networks. However, we cannot guarantee than streaming will work flawless as Extender networks are tricky and can cause many issues. Always use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network extender for best results.

Our ESQUIRE2 support A2DP Audio codec, which you will need for your MAC to be able to play to our ESQUIRE2.

The upgrade via HID tool will only update the Bluetooth module inside of the BDS device. There are two ways of upgrading your system. 1: Upgrading Bluetooth via HID Tool. 2: Upgrade BDS firmware via the built-in software center. The built-in software center will not upgrade your Bluetooth module.

Unless the two remote controls are identical, you can only assign one remote control at a time to the SB16.

To use Chromecast, you must continue the setup in the Google Home app first.
Configuring the speaker only with Apple WAC will not enable the Chromecast feature.
For this to happen, you must sign-in with your Google account.

You can quickly try out the Chromecast feature, and if you do not like it, reset your Citation or LINK speaker, and redo the configuration part on your Apple device.

Please try turning Bluetooth off on your phone and trying again, and make sure Location services are enabled for the Google Home app. If this does not work, certain phones are not compatible with the Google Home setup process, including the Vivo X21A, Vivo NEX S, and Vivo X9. Please use a different device for setup.

Use the Google Voice Assistant button on your Citation soundbar remote control when using these inputs HDMI, AUX or Optical. When you press this button, the current volume level will temporarily decrease and the Google Voice Assistant will begin listening for your command. The reason you need to use the remote control is that Google Assistant does not support Multi-channel audio from your source device (TV, BlueRay Player or TV-BOX) and therefore the mic is automatically muted unless the Google Voice Assistant button is pressed. Google Voice Assistant is always listening when streaming music over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

The built-in YouTube app is able to stream up to 1080P content. Video with higher resolution is not available.

We designed the USB folder data to show the latest modified folder and it is a design preference. It is not possible to change this setting.

If you are having problems playing music after setting up a new speaker (no matter what connection is used, Ethernet, Wi-Fi), please restart the Harman Kardon Controller app after the speaker setup is complete.

Some third-party apps do not support volume changing when your smart device is in lock screen mode.

If you are experience this message, please power cycle the Wi-Fi router and speaker(s). Disconnect the devices' power cable for 10 seconds and then reconnect them. Once the router and speaker(s) completely boots up, please try to setup again.

Try reset the ESQUIRE2 speaker. Press and hold Volume + & phone button at the same time. When the unit is reset, it will power off, and turn on the unit again, and it is reset. Go into your Bluetooth device list and delete the ESQUIRE2 from your list. Now Bluetooth pair with it again. If the unit still do not work as intended, please contact our helpdesk.

This feature is not yet implemented in our Harman Kardon Allure or Allure portable speaker. Future updates might include this option, so we advise keeping an eye on the release notes in the HK Alexa Setup app about possible future firmware updates.

There may be more than one reasons for this problem, but one detail is important: if establishing the connection manually, do not advance the cursor after having written all characters in your password with the up and down arrows. If you jump to the next empty position after the last character, this will be interpreted as an added character in itself, and the password will be wrong.

The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 only supports Bluetooth. The HK Controller app only works with Harman Kardon products that have WiFi connectivity.

It is important to use the correct HDMI connection on the BDS, marked with ARC. Also, the proper input must be selected with the AUX input selector button, which scrolls between the six AUX inputs. It always selects the AUX input that you used last, so once you have used the AUX ARC input, the BDS unit remembers it until you select another AUX input. Of course you have to have a TV which actually supports ARC.

Unfortunately, some Huawei phones are not able to stream music from the HK Controller app to 1st generation Omni speakers. However, the new Omni 10+, 20+, and 50+ have fixed this issue, and you will be able to stream music to them using your Huawei phone.

Make sure your source device and AURA are on the same network. Then make sure your router is set to support older Wi-Fi protocols, such as b/g where the AURA is operating. Some routers have a function to disable older protocols and only use newer ones.

It is not possible to setup a speaker to a hidden SSID Wi-Fi network. Please make it visible to install your OMNI+ speakers.

It is not possible to use the speaker while installing it to your WiFi network. Once you have successfully connected to the WiFi network, you can use Bluetooth and AUX again.

Your device has entered full standby-mode, which means it shuts down all activity to have the lowest power consumption. This is a requirement for any product in Europe in order to reduce power consumption for devices in your home. To use the HK Remote app again, simply switch ON your device with the original remote control or the front panel on/off button.

AURA is DLNA compatible, which means that if you have a device capable of streaming DLNA content (AUDIO only), then it will be visible for these devices. If you do not see AURA on your network, please make sure you have connected it to the Wi-Fi and followed the procedure, as it requires to be connected via Wi-Fi.

Spotify Connect needs to be connected to your Home network for it to work. Also it requires that you are a paid subscriber to Spotify Premium to open use of the Connect feature.

Please make sure that your smart-device that is using the HK Controller app and OMNI speaker(s), are connected to the same band (2.4G or 5G) when using a Dual-band router.

To use DLNA properly, you will need to share your folders from your server or PC, before our BDS system can detect your content.

Make sure that both speakers are using the same network technology, either Ethernet or WiFi. Mixing them will increase music loading time.

DVD and Blu-ray Disc copy protection only allows analog video output up to 576p resolution when playing DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. To view video at higher resolutions use the AVR’s HDMI inputs and HDMI output instead of its component video inputs and output.

When you press this button, the current volume level will temporarily decrease and the Google Voice Assistant will begin listening for your command. If you wish to use Google Voice Assistant with the wake-up word when steaming music over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth in a 5.1 surround sound system, turn off the Surround setting on the Citation Bar touch screen.

This is sometimes a problem with wired connections to computers or NAS drives. There is no way to change this, unfortunately.

To use the Onyx Studio 2 with a PC or MAC, please make sure that you have the correct Bluetooth driver, that supports A2DP Audio Codec.

Typically when we are talking about projectors, they are normally installed in a place where the HDMI cable is too long, and the signal has a hard time reaching the AVR. It is also possible that the projector is not compatible with the AVR. To be sure it works with the AVR, please move projector closer and use a short HDMI cable. We recommend a cable that is 3 meters in length or less. If the projector works with the shorter cable, and you have no choice but to use a longer cable, you will need an HDMI repeater/amplifier/eq/booster (name varies depending on the manufacturer), to boost the signal so that it can make it all the way from the AVR to the projector.

Close and restart the Google Home app, or restart your phone. Start the Google Home app again, and the speaker should now appear.
 

The Harman AVR App controls your receiver through your smartphone, which communicates via your wireless home network. Please make sure that your AVR is properly connected to your network router, with cable for the smaller models. If you have no wireless home network, you cannot use the app.

AURA Studio is not supported via our app, and that means you cannot change any settings on it.

Please make sure that your BDS is connected to the home network router also used by your smartphone.

Please place your AVR in full Standby by holding the Power Button for at least three seconds. Now, when you switch it ON again, the problem should have disappeared. Please note that Sleep Mode is not sufficient, you must use full Standby.
