I am using AUX-in, Optical, or HDMI with my Citation soundbar, and Google Voice Assistant does not respond. How can I use Google Voice Assistant?
Use the Google Voice Assistant button on your Citation soundbar remote control when using these inputs HDMI, AUX or Optical. When you press this button, the current volume level will temporarily decrease and the Google Voice Assistant will begin listening for your command.
The reason you need to use the remote control is that Google Assistant does not support Multi-channel audio from your source device (TV, BlueRay Player or TV-BOX) and therefore the mic is automatically muted unless the Google Voice Assistant button is pressed.
Google Voice Assistant is always listening when streaming music over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
