  • Can I use the Bluetooth on my Harman Kardon Allure speaker without being connected to Wi-Fi?
    Yes, in case your Wi-Fi does not work then simply press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds, your speaker is now in pairing mode. The button is located on the back where you connect the power cord. Please be aware that Alexa will not work on Bluetooth.
  • Can I use the OMNI 10+, 20+ or 50+ speakers for my TV?
    There is a buffer inside the speakers that processes the incoming signal. This buffer delays the audio signal compared to the video signal, causing a delay. For this, we do not recommend using Omni+ speakers with a TV. Our Omni bar will work with your TV sound and you can create wireless 5.1 surround sound system with the Omni bar.
  • Can I use the USB charging port, while I'm charging my OMNI 50+?
    Yes, you can easily charge your OMNI 50+ while charging another device via USB port.
  • Can I use Zone II for video source on my AVR 171S?
    No, only analog audio sources are available for Zone II.
  • Can OMNI stream FM radio or TV audio from one OMNI to another OMNI?
    This is not supported at this time, but the upcoming Omni+ speakers will support Google Chromecast built-in, which has support for many Internet radio services such as TuneIn Radio.
  • Can the speaker be used with Bluetooth without setting up Voice Assistant?
    JBL Playlist: Yes, it can be used with Bluetooth out of the box, and also Chromecast (setup is done via Google Home, but speaker does not have Google Assistant built-in) JBL Link Bar: Yes, it can be used with Bluetooth and Chromecast after setting the bar up with a Google account - choosing not to activate the Google Assistant. JBL Link Music: No, this speaker requires setup via Google Home JBL Link Portable: No, this speaker requires setup via Google Home JBL Link 10, 20 and Link View: No, these speakers requires setup via Google Home Harman Kardon Citation series: No, this speaker requires setup via Google Home Harman Kardon Allure: Yes, Bluetooth is available from factory settings. Every time it is powered on and off, the speaker will say "Now in setup mode, follow the instructions in the Harman Kardon Alexa App." Harman Kardon Allure Portable: Yes, Bluetooth will be available after initial setup in the Harman Kardon Alexa App. This means that you have to log in with your Amazon account at first, and if you do not want to use the Alexa assistant, log out of you Amazon account afterwards.     We are sorry, but this is not possible, neither as software upgrade nor as mechanical modification.
  • Can Wireless dual sound be used in connection with other products?
    Wireless dual sound can be used to pair two speakers which has the wireless dual sound technology, Which are Aura Studio 2, GO+PLAY, Onyx studio 3, Onyx mini. Please note: Dual Wireless Sound only has the capability to connect no more than 2 speakers at a time. NOTE: The Onyx Studio 5, which also has Dual Wireless Sound, can NOT be used together with other products which feature DWS. Only 2 Onyx Studio 5's can pair with eachother.
  • Can wireless dual sound speakers be configured to play stereo, so one speaker plays the left speaker and the other right speaker?
    unfortunately not, wireless dual sound, can only play the full signal, which contains both left and right channels in both speakers.
  • Can you switch song when you are using an USB source and the music is paused?

    The music track switching is only available when the music is playing. This is due to a signal detect issue, which is only present when the music is paused.

  • Can you turn the noise canceling option on and off on SOHO II NC?
    You have the option to turn the Noise Cancellation on and off by using the switch that is located on the right side of the NC box. When choosing the switch option, you will see a green light inside the the switch will indicate that the Noise Cancelation is on. To turn off the Noise Cancelation, move the switch down towards the cable and the green light will turn off. When charging this device with the micro USB charging cable included in the packaging, you will see the light turn orange to indicate that it is charging.
  • Casting music to your speaker via Airplay

    You can stream the audio to your AirPlay compatible speaker using the Control Center on your iOS device by completing the following steps:

     

    1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Control Center by swiping down from the top right of the screen.

    2.  Find the audio icon in the upper right-hand corner and then tap the AirPlay icon.

    3. Select the speaker from the list of devices to stream audio using AirPlay.
     

    You can also use AirPlay directly from some iOS apps, like Apple Music by:
    1. Opening the app.
    2. Tap the AirPlay icon.
    3. Select your AirPlay compatible speaker.
