It's normal that music will be interrupted for one or two seconds when entering Wireless Dual Sound mode. The two compatible speakers are synchronizing with each other during this connection process. The SmartThings app works with Alexa and can be used to control compatible products such as light bulbs, on/off switches, dimmer switches, thermostats, locks, and Scenes configured with the SmartThings app. To use your speaker to control these smart devices, follow these steps:
- Go to the speaker's page in the SmartThings app.
- Select Menu (3 dots on the top right corner).
- Select "Settings".
- Select "SmartThings with Alexa".
- Tap "Allow" to let Alexa to access all your compatible home devices.
- Select "Link".
- Tap "Done".

To reset the device to its factory settings:
Power on the speaker. While on, press and hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds until the speaker turns off.
Now that the speaker has been reset, make sure to remove it from your BT settings if it was once paired to other devices as the BT memory has been reset as well. Once you turn the speaker on again, it should automatically enter into pairing mode with a flashing LED. It should pop up on your discoverable devices under your BT settings and connect within a few seconds.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback! -
To reset your speaker to its factory settings, press and hold the Bluetooth and Vol + buttons for at least 10 seconds. The LED will emit a constant amber color until the reset is completed.

As of December 1, 2022, Google Assistant on third party smart displays, soundbars, and speakers are no longer able to make a voice call to a landline or mobile number on the carrier network. Voice-over-IP calls continue to work. This is due to the ongoing infrastructure improvements.
