  • Is the Harman Kardon Allure speaker set to a specific language?
    It would depend where you buy it from. If you bought it in Germany, it will speak German from the start and if you bought it from USA or UK it will speak English. The langauge of the speaker can be changed in our HK Alexa setup app. Go to Settings, Device, Language and select your preferred language.
  • Is the IENC a wireless headphone?
    The IENC is not a wireless headphone. It is a wired headphone equipped with a 3.5 mm jack and a Noise Canceling box to control ambient aware sound.
  • Is there any limit when scrolling through my USB storage with music?
    No, you can easily scroll through your library with ease.
  • Is the strap made with synthetic leather?
    Yes, the material used for the strap is synthetic leather (PU/polyurethane).
  • Is this a portable speaker?
    Yes. This product has a rechargeable battery and a handle for carrying.
  • I want to listen to stereo music through all five loudspeakers of my BDS system, but I cannot see if it is possible.
    This function is not available on these BDS units. So-called five-channel stereo is a feature which is available in Harman Kardon AVR surround receivers, but it has not been included in the BDS platform.
  • I want to reset my AURA Studio speaker, is it possible?
    Yes, it can be done very easily. 1: First power on your AURA Studio. 2: Press volume + and Phone button at the same time for 5 seconds. 3: All LED light indicators will flash for 1 second. 4: Your AURA Studio has been reset.
  • I want to reset my remote control, can I do that?
    Yes, press and simultaneously hold down the Aux and the Zoom (Blue) buttons on the BDS remote control for at least three seconds. The input selector panel buttons all flash three times.

    The Checklist

    Let us walk-through a list of things needed to ensure every requirement is met.

    1. Check your mobile device if that is able to connect to same Wireless network.
    2. Make sure you are within range of your Wireless router.
    3. Check the Wireless signal on your mobile device, does it have a weak signal then move closer to the router.
    4. Try both Wireless network bands 2.4GHz and 5GHz in case one of them are failing.
      1. You will have longer range with 2.4GHz, but less performance and most of the times a crowded network (many devices are using 2.4GHz band).
      2. You will have less interference with 5GHz and higher performance, however, the range of the 5GHz network has shorter range.
    5. Try using a different mobile device, if you have one.
    6. Reboot your Wireless network router and your mobile device.

    Wireless Network Extender

    Some houses or apartments can be too big for one Wireless network router to cover it all.
    Let's talk about the issues that might appear with an Extender network.

    1. Network Extenders that will help cover poor signal in your home, often results in poor connection and low speed performance.
    2. Often the Network Extender is a low budget device or not suited for having too many devices attached to it.
    3. Placement of the speaker is crucial as you can put it in a place where it could connect to either main Wireless router or the Extender, that will confuse Wireless network devices.
    4. To solve this issue, try move the speaker closer to main router or have fewer devices attached to your Wireless Extender.
    5. In addition, always use 5GHz connection between your Network extender and main router (best solution and performance).

    One Wireless Network Name (SSID)

    1. You may have set the Wireless Network SSID (Wi-Fi network name) to one big Wireless network (With a main router + Extender(s).
    2. If the speaker is within range of both Wireless networks (Main router & Extender) then it can get confused with which one to connect to.
    3. To solve this issue, using two different name for your extended network will help with the performance of the Speaker and Google Assistant request.

  • May the OMNI 50+ speaker be damaged by rain or snow, since it is splashproof?
    The speaker is IPX5 certified, it can withstand direct splashes from any direction for up to 3 minutes. Although a little snow or rain won't hurt it, we do not recommend keeping the speaker outside during rain and/or snow. Also be aware of extreme hot or cold temperatures, they may be damaging.
  • Multiroom features
    You can create a multi-room setup using Chromecast built-in™ or Airplay, linking to other speakers with the same feature including the Harman Kardon Citation Series.
