  • I have multiple wi-fi routers or a MESH system in my home. Can I carry the ALLURE PORTABLE around my house and have uninterrupted service of the ALEXA system?
    The ALLURE PORTABLE is not constantly looking for a wi-fi system. When you turn the unit on, it finds the wi-fi, connects, and begins working. When you move into another section with a different router, the ALLURE PORTABLE will no longer be connected. You will have to turn the ALLURE PORTABLE off and then back on again, so that it can find it's new wi-fi router.
  • I have no audio in my speakers when listening to an external source
    Please note that the AUX source supports a variety of input connections. By pressing the AUX button on the remote several times, the input toggles between the different audio inputs. Please press the remote control AUX button repeatedly, until the front display shows the correct input source. This should set the AUX input correctly, and you should have audio back in your speakers, to let you enjoy your Harman Kardon system.
  • I have OMNI + speakers connected to my WiFi extender, and sometimes there is a problem linking them together.
    Make sure your WiFi extender's name is not the same as that of your main WiFi network. Please use 5 GHz WiFi extenders only for best performance.
  • I have problems updating my BDS unit with the latest software version. What can I do?
    If you have updated the unit from a USB stick, performed a reset procedure and removed power from the unit completely for at least 10 seconds, and the BDS still does not work, please repeat the update process. You may want to re-download the update file as well. This should solve the issue, and we are sorry for this inconvenience.
  • I just upgraded to Windows 10. I cannot get any sound to my ESQUIRE2, why is that?
    To use our ESQUIRE2 with your Windows system, you'll need to find a Bluetooth driver that supports A2DP Audio codec. HARMAN do not have these and therefore you will need to contact your PC manufacturer.
  • In the speaker setup menu, I can select HKTS 60, but my speaker system is HKTS 65. What do I do?
    The HKTS 65 is a new version of the HKTS 60, with minor improvements. Please select HKTS 60 in the menu.

    What’s New:
    1. Fixed a pop noise sound when you play/pause the music.
    2. Fixed an issue where Bluetooth pairing is always available without pressing the Bluetooth button.
    3. Enable factory reset via the reset pinhole next to the microphone mute button. For example, use a paperclip, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to reset your Invoke speaker.
    4. Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

    1. Download the zip file from the link above.
    2. Unzip/Extract the entire contents of the zip file.
    3. Read through the instructions (OTA2.pdf) before performing the update to familiarize yourself with the procedure.
    4. Process 1: Install the driver in your Windows 10 computer so that it can recognize and communicate with your INVOKE.
      1. NOTE: This is not possible on computers that use BitLocker or other corporate encryption tools. Use a personal computer that does not use advanced encryption.
    5. Process 2: Install the update on your INVOKE via your Windows 10 computer.


    OPTION 2: Factory Update

    1. Click on the link above.
    2. Fill out the online form.
    3. Select INVOKE in the Product field.
    4. Type “Software Update Request” in the Description Of Issue/Problem field.
    5. Click Submit.
    6. Wait to receive an email within 48 hours with instructions for shipping back your unit.
    7. Please note that you are responsible for carefully packing your INVOKE and all shipping charges.
    8. Harman will update your product and send it back to you within 2-6 weeks.

  • In your specification sheet for ESQUIRE2. It says that is has A2DP profile, which codec is supported?
    Our A2DP profile only support SBC Codec for ESQUIRE 2.
  • Is an analog aux signal fed to the jack input available on the analog jack output?
    Yes, but only with power on the Adapt. When it senses a signal on the analog aux input, the input ring will light up green automatically, and the signal will become available from the line output, for transmission with cable to e.g. an amplifier. It is important to note that there will be a slight delay in the signal that comes out of the line output jack, even if it does not involve any wireless functions.
  • I see AURA as AirPlay device, but not as DLNA device, how come?
    If your device is capable of seeing AURA as an AirPlay unit, it will also be available as DLNA device, as AURA needs to be connected to your network for it to work as DLNA/AirPlay unit. Make sure your devices are on the same network.
  • I see that your new AURA supports Spotify Connect. Will my older AURA be elegible for upgrading to Spotify Connect?
    Current AURA customers will be able to upgrade your speaker to support Spotify Connect. Simply use the HK Remote app, as it will be OTA update. Otherwise, contact our helpdesk for help.
