  • The Aura Studio has been put into demo mode, here is how to detect and disable this feature.
How to detect "demo mode" on the Aura Studio:
    1. When plugged in, the Aura Studio will stay powered on at all times (it will not go into standby mode).
    2. All buttons on the speaker will not work.
    3. Bluetooth mode is disabled, wireless connection will not work.
    4. Only the aux cable input can be used to play music; volume is automatically set to maximum and cannot be adjusted (all buttons are disabled).

How to disable "demo mode" on the Aura Studio:
    1. Make sure the speaker is powered ON.
    2. Press and hold the Vol - and Bluetooth button for at least 5 seconds
    3. The speaker will power OFF, demo mode is disable.
    4. Now when the speaker is powered ON, you will have full access to all buttons and features.
Caution: The button combination that disables "demo mode" (Vol - and Bluetooth), will also enable it.
  • Yes, hold down the Volume and Bluetooth buttons at the same time. A voice will call out some numbers, and that is the software version on your AURA Studio.
  • Yes, no matter if Aura is in Sleep mode or Standby mode, an incoming Bluetooth signal will wake it up.
  • Bluetooth keeps on playing, even if you connect something and play to the AUX input. BT keeps on playing, since it has first priority. If you pause or stop BT play, any source playing to the AUX input will now be heard. If you resume play on the BT source, it will take over, and the AUX source is no longer heard, but will of course keep on playing, since there is no way to send a pause or stop signal to the AUX source via the line cable. All of this means that there is an input selector switch built into the device, controlled by the BT play function.
  • Yes, When connected by Bluetooth from an iOS or Android device, pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for more than 2 seconds on the Aura Studio 2, the Voice Command will open ( iOS > Siri, Android > Google Now )
  • We have some suggestions if you want to enjoy the best performance from your Bluetooth devices. 1. Please note that if you have a large number of Apps open in your smartphone or tablet, this may block or overtax its processor. Dropouts may result. Try to close all or most active apps. This should solve the problem. 2. Bluetooth signals from smartphones and tablets are not very strong. Make sure that the signal does not have to pass through doors, walls etc. Always maintain a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver. 3. Do not carry your smartphone in your pocket, if you have dropouts. Your body can act as a screen, reducing the strength of the Bluetooth signal. Put the phone on a table or other surface. 4. Do not walk around while listening. If the transmitter and the receiver are moved in relation to each other, dropouts occur more frequently. 5. Under normal circumstances, you can expect a range of 5 meters with no problems, if you follow the above advice. In some instances range is longer, but we cannot promise this.
  • AURA Studio has the Multi-Connect feature (Social-Mode) which allows you to connect up to 2 devices at the same time and play different music from either device. Note that the music playing on one device will be interrupted when the other device begins playing music, and vice-versa.
  • The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 2 only supports Bluetooth. The HK Controller app only works with Harman Kardon products that have WiFi connectivity.
  • AURA Studio is not supported via our app, and that means you cannot change any settings on it.
  • It is not possible to clean the clear dome of the AURA. The dome cannot be removed without damaging the product. The only solution if debris falls into the AURA is to try to shake it out through the bass tube. We cannot recommend using a vacuum cleaner to suck or blow through the bass tube.
