ABH 4

Add-on A-BUS expansion hub for relaying sound to four rooms.

Designed for use with any A-BUS®-equipped Harman Kardon® receiver or home-theater system, each ABH 4 expansion hub will provide fully controllable audio playback within multiple rooms in your house. If your receiver, pre-amplifier or surround processor does not come with A-BUS ports and is not A-BUS/ready™, the ABH 4’s onboard audio inputs let you distribute audio from any “Tape” or “Multiroom” output to any room connected to the network. The ABH 4 can connect the receiver to as many as four rooms via four AB 1 amplified in-wall modules, using a Cat. 5/5e-connected network. The more ABH 4s you have, the more rooms you can fill with sound; you can interconnect up to four ABH 4s to build whole-house systems of up to 16 rooms. For added flexibility, the ABH 4’s local infrared (IR) inputs mean that you can add an optional IR receiver/sensor to handle remote commands for source components, including CD and DVD players. The ABH 4 also has audio inputs, A-BUS outputs and other connectors to ensure that every room in your home receives music. It’s one of the most convenient tools for spreading entertainment in multiple rooms.
