I'm trying to connect my product to my home network or router, but it is not working. How can I fix this?
1. Disconnect/unplug the product from the network cable. If dealing with a smartphone, forget the wi-fi on the phone.
2. Shut the router completely OFF. (do not reboot, you must turn it completely off)
3. Boot the router up and let it complete it's connection with everything, usually a few minutes.
4. Shut the router completely OFF, again. This is REALLY important. Before turning it off a second time, the router still has the product in it and is looking to connect to it. Shutting it off a second time allows the router to go through a complete power cycle without ever seeing the product, so it will remove it from its system.
5. Boot the router up, again, and let it complete it's connection with everything.
6. Now plug-in/turn on the product. The router should find the product and all should work.
7. If dealing with a smartphone, search for the wi-fi and reconnect to it.
All should work after this.
