- Note - The HK Omni 10 is intended to be used for streaming music via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology. This product is designed to be instantly on and ready to play music at a moment's notice. The HK Omni 10 is in compliance with the European Union energy legislation. It will enter into sleep mode (networked standby) after 10 minutes without operation, after which it can be re-activated via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Now the music doesn’t stop no matter where you are in your home. Simply set up multiple speakers and enjoy wireless room filling sound at the touch of a button. Play different music in different rooms or stream the same song throughout your house with party mode. Our app and Bluetooth capability let you access any music from your phone or your favorite apps seamlessly.

Use the Harman Kardon app to stream your favorite music anywhere in your home. Control and configure your HD audio system wirelessly via the app with no cable connection required.
Start a party and jump right in! When multiple songs are playing wirelessly, one button press cycles through them all so you can pick your favorite. One long press of the button starts party mode with every speaker playing back the same music. Room to room control made easy without the need to use your phone or tablet.
Unlike other wireless streaming systems, the Harman Kardon Omni 10 supports 24bit / 96kHz Studio Quality HD audio streaming. Enjoy a superior audio experience, higher resolution than from a CD.
More music, more flexibility, more fun . With this feature, any app (for example iTunes Radio or Spotify) is part of the Harman Kardon whole home audio experience. Use Bluetooth and the Omni 10 will re-stream your music to other speakers in the house.
Group speakers together for an immersive same room wireless sound experience. A pair of Harman Kardon Omni 10 can be used as part of a stereo or multi-channel speaker system.
Connect your audio device via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm mini-jack to your Omni 10 and the speaker will automatically translate the signal to Wi-Fi and stream its sound all over your house for a truly flexible whole home audio experience.
You can connect an OMNI 10 orOmni 20 to your TV set, and use them listen to the TV sound or moviesoundtrack. You should use a wired connection from either a fixed line-leveloutput on the TV, or from the TV’s headphone output.
It is perfectly possible to adda second OMNI speaker for stereo use, through additional wiring, via signalsplitters also known as Y-splitters. When re-streaming the TV sound wirelesslyfrom one Omni speaker to other Omni speakers in the house, the audio signalwill be slightly delayed compared to the video signal.

Streaming via Bluetooth or direct aux in connection are supported without the HK Controller app. For OMNI+ devices that you already have placed in a room, they are capable of using either Spotify Connect or Chromecast built-in without the need of using the HK Controller app. Use only the HK Controller app for setting up any OMNI+ devices you may have.Was this helpful? There is a reset button on the bottom of the Omni+ devices. Press and hold this button for 5 seconds to perform a factory reset of your product. All product settings, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connections will be erased. To reset the OMNI 50+ speaker, please do the following: First, press & hold ‘Source’, ‘Vol+’, ‘Vol-‘ buttons at the same time. The Omni 50+ will switched off, indicating that the product was successful reset. Secondly, press ‘power' button to turn on power for the Omni 50+ speaker. Make sure you disable AP/Client isolation on your Access Point / Extender and that Multicast forwarding is not disabled between the W-Fi networks. However, we cannot guarantee than streaming will work flawless as Extender networks are tricky and can cause many issues. Always use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network extender for best results.Was this helpful? Unfortunately, some Huawei phones are not able to stream music from the HK Controller app to 1st generation Omni speakers. To have the best possible performance for OMNI+ system we advise to have a dual-band router with a powerful chipset and ram for best Wi-Fi performance. This will not only help our products to perform better and more stable, but your other devices at home will have more power and fewer interruptions. Please also be sure that your home Wi-Fi router has Multicast enabled, as our Omni+ system requires this feature enabled in order to work (same goes for Chromecast devices). Always connect our Omni+ system to 5 GHz Wi-Fi whenever possible to limit the risk of devices being slow or interrupted on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.Was this helpful? Thank you for your feedback!

Yes, they will work together. You can link rooms containing 1st generation Omni speakers with rooms containing 2nd generation Omni speakers and listen to the same music across all of them. Since the 2nd generation has a more powerful processor, we recommend connecting external sources like AUX or Bluetooth to the 2nd generation speakers rather than the 1st generation.Was this helpful?
