Wireless Network connection is lost or not connected anymore
In case you have lost the Wireless Network connection, recently changed your Wireless name/password, or changed your ISP (service provider), you may need to set up your Citation device again.
Follow our steps below to try fixing the issue and reconnecting your device again.- Open your Google Home app
.
- In the top right corner of the home screen, tap Devices
to see your available devices.
- Scroll to find the Citation device card.
- Tap SET UP and complete the setup steps.
- All of your previous settings, account information is still attached to the speaker. You only need to add it again to your Wireless Network.
Wireless Network connection failed
If the above solution did not work and you still have issues with connecting to your new Wireless Network, then try following these steps:- Reboot your Wireless router. In many cases it can help a lot with a little reboot!
- Reset your Citation device.
- Press and hold down the RESET BUTTON for 15 seconds, the front LED will light up indicating it has been reset.
- Your Citation device will now boot-up again. It can take roughly 45 seconds until it is ready.
- Try to set it up again via your Google Home app

Yes, they will work together. You can link rooms containing 1st generation Omni speakers with rooms containing 2nd generation Omni speakers and listen to the same music across all of them. Using Wi-Fi allows you to listen to your music in a higher sound quality since Bluetooth protocol compresses the audio signal, where Wi-Fi data easily stream HD Audio content. Take calls without interrupting your current audio music, where Bluetooth will interrupt the stream, because it is a one-way protocol. Control your music from anywhere in the house, where Bluetooth have a limited range. - “UNSUPPORTED” is displayed when the file format is not supported.
- Do not extract the USB device while in operation.
- For a large capacity USB, it may take longer than a few minutes to be searched. USB with more than 2000 files cannot be supported.
- Devices which require additional program installation connected to a computer are not supported.
- The USB port of the soundbar cannot be connected to a computer and it cannot be used as a storage device.

For OMNI BAR+, three sources are available: HDMI (not applicable for ADAPT+), Optical or AUX input. For Adapt+ two sources are available: Optical in/outputs and Analog in/outputs. If you select "Watching movies and TV shows" in the HK controller app for either one of them, you will have a very little delay and good lip sync with the TV for video applications. However, you will not be able to rebroadcast the TV signal to other OMNI+ speakers when selecting this mode. If you select "Listening to music", you will be able to rebroadcast TV signal to other OMNI+ speakers in your house, however, you will have lip sync delay with video material. Select that specific mode if you use HDMI (not applicable for ADAPT+), Optical or AUX for music only. Using Chromecast, Spotify Connect or Bluetooth is not part of these modes. To set up the Harman Kardon Adapt in the HK Controller app, you have to select "One speaker", not the Adapt+ option. When selecting "One speaker", simply follow the on-screen instructions to install your Adapt on the Wi-Fi network. To have the best possible performance for OMNI+ system we advise to have a dual-band router with a powerful chipset and ram for best Wi-Fi performance. This will not only help our products to perform better and more stable, but your other devices at home will have more power and fewer interruptions. Please also be sure that your home Wi-Fi router has Multicast enabled, as our Omni+ system requires this feature enabled in order to work (same goes for Chromecast devices). The Vi headphones have a couple different sensors, including a touch sensor (for interacting with Vi), a gyroscope (for rotational motion), accelerometer (for movement or vibrations) and a barometer (for elevation / atmospheric pressure). There are a couple of things that you will need to install your Harman Kardon Allure speaker. 1. Amazon account (US, UK or Germany are the only ones supported now). 2. HDCP (High Definition Copy Protection) 2.2 will become mandatory for 4K/UHD content only. First source should be the 4K BD player announced at IFA for spring 2016 from Samsung. In case of HDCP 2.2, the whole chain needs to be compatible to work from source to AVR to TV. If one of the devices in the chain is not HDCP 2.2-compliant, the player will downscale the content to 1080p. No black screen. This is the theory, anyway. HDCP 2.2 is copy-protection, so it does not decode the signal, but is concerned with preserving the content from being copied and distributed on the internet. The problem of HDCP 2.2 is that it is hardware-based, and not software-based, so there is nothing we can do on our existing models, like any other AVR manufacturer or TV. Please note that self-produced 4K material is no problem, since self-produced material has no digital HDCP copy protection. In most cases when a Computer/PC/Laptop has issues connecting to a Bluetooth device (Portable speaker, Headphones, Active speakers), it's caused by your Computer/PC/Laptop's Bluetooth driver (software).
The driver (software) should support the following Bluetooth protocols, to be able to play music/sound from your Computer/PC/Laptop:
• A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) driver for your Computer/PC/Headphones to transfer music.
• AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) driver to send skip/forward/pause/play music to your device
Always get the latest driver version available for your Computer/PC/Laptop.
To download the correct driver (software), visit the manufacturer's website of your Computer/PC/Laptop. They usually have a "Support/Download" section where you can find the correct driver. Otherwise, we advise you to contact their support.

- Try to disconnect some devices from your Wi-Fi network. Some routers may have weak performance, which can cause issues and poor connection to all devices in your network. - If your router supports 5Ghz ( 802.11N or AC ) and you have devices that are capable of using 5 GHz Wi-Fi then switch to that specific network for best performance. - If you have a lot of ( Legacy / older than 5 years ) devices on 2.4GHz network, try limiting them to max. 6 connected simultaneouslyWas this helpful? What you need first
Make sure that the device is installed on your Wireless network, by ensuring these steps below:
- You have the most recent version of the Google Home app installed
- Your Citation device is powered on
- Your Citation device is plugged into a wall outlet.
- The Citation device is located near your router
- The white LED lights in front of the Citation device are blinking
- If you are using an Apple iOS device, you need to turn on Bluetooth to installed the device.

On your iOS device Home screen, tap Settings > Bluetooth
- Make sure Bluetooth is on
- Return back to the Google Home app
- Your Citation device should appear as "Set up this device"

- If you are using an Android device, you need to turn on Bluetooth and Location Services.
- On your Android device, tap Settings.
- Find Bluetooth settings > Make sure Bluetooth is on
- Tap Location > Turn on location
- Tap Settings > Apps > Google Home app > Permissions.
- Next to "Location", check the slider is on.
- Your Citation device should appear as "Set up this device" .
TroubleshootingStep 1. Reboot your Citation device
- Disconnect the power cable from your Citation device
- Reconnect power cable to your Citation device
Step 2. Force close and relaunch the Google Home app
- From your Apple iOS device, do the following below:
- Press the Home button two times quickly. There will be a small preview of your recently used apps.
- Select the app you want to close and swipe up towards the top of the screen.
- Launch the Google Home app again.
- From your Android device, do the following below:
- Launch the Recent Applications menu to see small previews of your recently used apps. The Recent Apps button, a square icon, should be accessible at nearly any time along the bottom of the screen along with the other buttons on the virtual task bar.
- Select the app you want to close and swipe left or tap the X.
- Launch the Google Home app again.

If you are still experiencing issues with your Citation device not connecting to your Wireless network, try the following:

Try finding another mobile device to set up your Citation device, sometimes it can help connecting your speaker

Relocate your Citation device, or try to disable other Wireless network devices that might cause interference for your Citation device.
- Perform a factory reset of your device, by holding down the reset button for more than 5 seconds.
- Reboot your Wireless router
- Lastly, try turning Wi-Fi off and then back on again on your mobile device. Reopen your Google Home app and try again.

Do not worry, pairing both devices is easy and quick. Press the "pairing" button on the back of the Omni Bar, then press "pairing" button on the subwoofer. One explanation can be that your OMNI 50+ is part of a 5.1 system with your Omni Bar, which will make the surround OMNI 50+ left and right rear speakers act as "secondary", and Bluetooth connection is not possible to secondary speakers. To use the OMNI 50+ as a portable speaker again, simply perform a reset of the speaker by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds. Dual band routers that have 2.4 and 5 GHz connection bands. If devices connect on different bands, they cannot see one another. If your Wi-Fi network name has special characters, such as (, `, \, ', ", or ), then please change the name of your Wi-Fi network, as these characters are not supported. The speaker is IPX5 certified, it can withstand direct splashes from any direction for up to 3 minutes. Although a little snow or rain won't hurt it, we do not recommend keeping the speaker outside during rain and/or snow. Some houses or apartments can be too big for one Wireless network router to cover it all.
Let's talk about the issues that might appear with an Extender network.- Network Extenders that will help cover poor signal in your home, often results in poor connection and low speed performance.
- Often the Network Extender is a low budget device or not suited for having too many devices attached to it.
- Placement of the speaker is crucial as you can put it in a place where it could connect to either main Wireless router or the Extender, that will confuse Wireless network devices.
- To solve this issue, try move the speaker closer to main router or have fewer devices attached to your Wireless Extender.
- In addition, always use 5GHz connection between your Network extender and main router (best solution and performance).
One Wireless Network Name (SSID)
- You may have set the Wireless Network SSID (Wi-Fi network name) to one big Wireless network (With a main router + Extender(s).
- If the JBL LINK device is within range of both Wireless networks (Main router & Extender) then it can get confused with which one to connect to.
- To solve this issue, using two different name for your extended network will help with the performance of the JBL LINK Speaker and Google Assistant request.

It would depend where you buy it from. If you bought it in Germany, it will speak German from the start and if you bought it from USA or UK it will speak English. No. The Dual Wireless Sound featured in the Onyx Studio 5 only gives you the capability to connect to a second Onyx Studio 5. It is not possible to connect the Onyx Studio 3 and 5 together. Unfortunately, some Huawei phones are not able to stream music from the HK Controller app to 1st generation Omni speakers. (do not reboot, you must turn it completely off) 3. Boot the router up and let it complete it's connection with everything, usually a few minutes. 4. Shut the router completely OFF, again. This is REALLY important. Before turning it off a second time, the router still has the product in it and is looking to connect to it. Shutting it off a second time allows the router to go through a complete power cycle without ever seeing the product, so it will remove it from its system. 5. Boot the router up, again, and let it complete it's connection with everything. 6. Now plug-in/turn on the product. The router should find the product and all should work. 7. Make sure you disable AP/Client isolation on your Access Point / Extender and that Multicast forwarding is not disabled between the W-Fi networks. However, we cannot guarantee than streaming will work flawless as Extender networks are tricky and can cause many issues. Always use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network extender for best results.Was this helpful?
