  • No, stereo pairs must be two of the same type of speaker. For example, two Omni 10 or two Omni 10+ speakers will work, but not one Omni 10 and one Omni 10+.
  • Streaming via Bluetooth or direct aux in connection are supported without the HK Controller app. For OMNI+ devices that you already have placed in a room, they are capable of using either Spotify Connect or Chromecast built-in without the need of using the HK Controller app. Use only the HK Controller app for setting up any OMNI+ devices you may have.
  • Yes, in case your Wi-Fi does not work then simply press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds, your speaker is now in pairing mode. The button is located on the back where you connect the power cord. Please be aware that Alexa will not work on Bluetooth.
  • There is a buffer inside the speakers that processes the incoming signal. This buffer delays the audio signal compared to the video signal, causing a delay. For this, we do not recommend using Omni+ speakers with a TV. Our Omni bar will work with your TV sound and you can create wireless 5.1 surround sound system with the Omni bar.
  • You have the option to turn the Noise Cancellation on and off by using the switch that is located on the right side of the NC box. When choosing the switch option, you will see a green light inside the the switch will indicate that the Noise Cancelation is on. To turn off the Noise Cancelation, move the switch down towards the cable and the green light will turn off. When charging this device with the micro USB charging cable included in the packaging, you will see the light turn orange to indicate that it is charging.
  • General information about WiSA:

    WiSA is a wireless system designed specifically for audio and speakers. An audio system that incorporates WiSA technology has it's own internal wireless system. It is capable of doing 96kHz/24bit audio with an audio latency of only 5ms, virtually undetectable by the human ear.

    If a product is WiSA Certified, it can be used with any other WiSA certified product. For example a WiSA Ready TV with at transmitter.
    Note: The overall sound quality is dependent on the processing and setup in the WiSA TV & transmitter, and may result in a performance (EQ, crossover and levels) not intended by the speaker manufacturer. To be sure that the Citation products sound the best, use a Citation Bar product as the main "hub".

    Limitations:

    WiSA does not offer 3D audio formats like Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X yet, so at the moment it is limited to 5.1 or 7.1 Dolby Digital. So regardless of which brand of WiSA speaker you choose, Dolby Atmos will not be available yet.
  • The ADAPT+ is made to connect an external subwoofer. The subwoofer needs to be an active device, which means that it must have its own, built-in amplifier.
  • No, this feature is not yet embedded into our Harman Kardon Allure speaker. Future updates might include this feature, therefore keep an eye on the release notes in our HK Alexa setup app.
  • The Harman Kardon Allure speaker listens for the hotword "Alexa", and when our speaker detects it then it will open up a connection to the Amazon server and store your search history on your account. You can mute the mircrophone by tapping the Microphone button on the Allure speaker, this will stop the speaker from listening and will not react to Alexa until you unmute it.
  • Harman Kardon Allure/portable will only work in selected countries such as United States, Germany, United Kingdom and soon France. To use the Allure on your network requires two different apps. 1. HK Alexa setup - To connect it to your Wi-Fi network (Only available in the countries above) 2. Amazon Alexa app - To control Alexa and add streaming services to your Allure speaker. However, in some countries, French, German or English is spoken, but you still cannot use the Allure, because the Amazon Alexa app cannot be downloaded. This is a decision made by Amazon. The Alexa app is only available in some countries, and this is not only dependent on language. Therefore, if you plan on buying an Allure speaker, and have it shipped to a country outside the selected regions, you will not be able to use it on Wi-Fi, and Alexa voice commands will not work. Only Amazon knows if and when they will extend the app availability to more countries.
  • No, this feature is not supported in our Harman Kardon Allure speaker. This might change with future updates. You can write text messages to your Amazon friends via the Alexa app.
  • No, since the OMNI BAR+ does not have any HDMI input connections, it is only your source, connected to the TV, (and of course your TV) that need to be 4K compatible.
  • Yes, press and hold the Surround button on the OMNI BAR+ until it starts to blink amber. You are now in pairing mode. Press Volume+ on your OMNI BAR+, then press Volume+ on your remote control. The surround button will quickly flash white, to indicate it has learned Volume+. Repeat for Volume-, and Mute, and then hold down the Surround button to exit remote control learning.
  • Every home is different, so it is difficult to provide a universal guide that suits it all. What you can do is check the number of available access points in your home by performing a Wi-Fi network scan using a mobile device. Then select the Wi-Fi channel that isn't as busy as the rest. Also, check how much noise each speaker has using the Harman Kardon Controller app. Simply go into the settings menu and select "Send us feedback" to see the results, signals between -40 dB and -62 dB are considered good.
  • As of December 1, 2022, Google Assistant on third party smart displays, soundbars, and speakers are no longer able to make a voice call to a landline or mobile number on the carrier network. Voice-over-IP calls continue to work. This is due to the ongoing infrastructure improvements.

    Both Enchant 800 and Enchant 1300 support these:
    • HDMI 2.0b compliance
    • HDCP 2.2 compliance (Means it supports 4K Blue-Ray Movies or streaming clients with 4K encryption)
    • CEC features (Scroll to see support)

    HDMI Input

    Enchant features only 1 x HDMI input, and Enchant has 3 x HDMI inputs and support this:
    • HDMI 2.0b.
    • HDCP 2.2 for all HDMI input connections (Means it supports 4K Blue-Ray Movies or streaming clients with 4K encryption)
    • 4K Pass-through.

    CEC Support

    CEC support only available through your HDMI connection and we are always using standard protocol for our products.
    We support these:
    • System Standby: When you press the "Power off" button on your TV remote, the Enchant soundbar will go into Standby mode as well.
    • ARC or called Audio Return Channel: If you would have a TV BOX connected directly to your TV and using ARC from TV to Enchant soundbar, then all sound will be transferred through ARC connection.
      • In case you are not using the HDMI ARC connection then sound coming from the TV show will not be transferred to the Enchant soundbar.
    • System Audio Control: Using your TV remote to turn up or lower the volume will be synchronized with the Enchant soundbar.
    Both models
    Bigger model is the Enchant 1300 and smaller model is the Enchant 800.
  • You can delete specific voice recordings associated with your account by going to History in Settings in the Alexa App, drilling down for a specific entry, and then tapping the delete button. Or, you can delete all voice recordings associated with your account for your Harman Kardon Allure speaker, by selecting the applicable product at the Manage Your Content and Devices page at www.amazon.com/mycd. and deleting voice recordings. However, this may degrade your Alexa experience.
  • That is easy, simply say "Alexa, mute" or "Alexa, mute music". To resume playback if needed, say "Alexa, resume playback".
  • Press and hold the "Microphone off" button for 5 seconds. The Allure speaker will tell you when it is ready to be configured.
  • There is a reset button on the bottom of the Omni+ devices. Press and hold this button for 5 seconds to perform a factory reset of your product. All product settings, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connections will be erased. To reset the OMNI 50+ speaker, please do the following: First, press & hold ‘Source’, ‘Vol+’, ‘Vol-‘ buttons at the same time. The Omni 50+ will switched off, indicating that the product was successful reset. Secondly, press ‘power' button to turn on power for the Omni 50+ speaker. Now you can easily set up the product again for your home Wi-Fi network.
  • The reset procedure is quite different from the rest of the OMNI+ series. To reset the OMNI 50+ speaker, please do the following: First, press & hold ‘Source’, ‘Vol+’, ‘Vol-‘ buttons at the same time. The Omni 50+ will switched off, indicating that the product was successful reset. Secondly, press ‘power' button to turn on power for the Omni 50+ speaker. Now you can easily set up the product again for your home Wi-Fi network.
  • On the back of your OMNI BAR+ there is a reset button. Hold it down for 5 seconds, until the round button LED lights up in white. The product is now reset and ready to be set up again.
  • The speaker will be automatically updated if any new software is available. You can check our HK Alexa setup app for more information, since the app will show a notification that new software was installed. Tap on the icon showing and see all release notes.
  • You need to download the HK Alexa setup app from either Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then follow the procedure written in the app.
  • We recommend starting playback on the Omni+ speaker first, and then linking the 1st generation Omni speakers. Omni+ is more powerful and can provide more stability when restreaming to other speakers.
  • Find a paper clip or something similar, then next to the power connection there is a small hole. Insert your paper clip and hold it until the Harman Kardon Allure tells you it is reset.
  • Switch device ON.
    Press and hold VOLUME+ and PLAY/PAUSE buttons until all lamps light up.
    Device is now reset.
  • If your OMNI 50+ is completely drained, it will take 3,5 to 4 hours to fully charge. We advise to charge the Omni 50+ when it starts to blink red.
  • Connecting a Bluetooth device for your Enchant Soundbar

    1. Make sure your Enchant soundbar is turned on by pressing the power buttonpower buttton
    2. There are two ways to enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your Enchant soundbar.
      1. Press the dedicated source button on top of your Enchant soundbar source
      2. Press the source button until you see "Bluetooth" in the front of the Enchant display. Below is the order when using the source button (note that on Enchant 800 there is only 1 HDMI)

    1. The second option is to use the Remote control included with your Enchant soundbar.
      1. Press the "BT" button on your Remote control.
      2. The display will show "Bluetooth pairing"

    4. Now enjoy watching TV and listen to great audio through your Enchant soundbar.

    2. Find the Optical OUT connection on your TV.
    3. Locate the Optical IN on the back of your Enchant soundbar.
    4. Enjoy sound through the optical connection.

    Using the HDMI Inputs

    2. Use the HDMI inputs on the Enchant Soundbar.
      1. NOTE: Enchant 800 only have one HDMI input port and Enchant 1300 has three HDMI input ports.
    3. Switch source using your Remote control or pressing the source selector buttonspruce.

  • If you have two of the same model Google Assistant speakers, you can create a stereo speaker system.

    How to create a stereo pair...

    1. Open the Google Home appUser-added image
    2. Find the speaker you want to setup in stereo pair
    3. Find the speaker/room User-added image
    4. Tap on Settings User-added image
    5. Go to Sound Settings
    6. Find the Speaker pair
    7. You are now entering the setup page pair Tap User-added image
    8. Find your speaker under the Pair with list and tap.
    9. Move the speaker to be Left or Right side and press User-added image
      1. You can tap on Play sound to identify which speaker it is.
    10. Find a name for your Stereo pair User-added image
    11. It takes a minute to complete the setup.
    12. When the configuration is done it will say Ready READY
    13. Press Done
    You have now completed the setup and created a Stereo pair sound experience.

    NOTE 1:  This is only possible with two of the same speakers.  If they are not identical (Example: Citation 100 & Citation One), setting up a stereo pair will not be an option.

    NOTE 2:  It is possible to make a stereo pair of a Mk1 with a Mk2. Setup as normal.
    Airplay from the Mk2 will not be available.

    NOTE 3: It is only possible to use Chromecast and Bluetooth in stereo, Airplay will be mono (and should be grouped in iOS Airplay menu.


     
    1. Mute

      1. Touch the microphone icon on the screen to mute the Google Voice assistant microphone.
        1. NOTE: Google Assistant will not work when the microphone is muted.
      2. Touch and press it again to unmute the microphone.
      3. You can now give it any voice commands that you would like.
    2. How to pair an Enchant Subwoofer with your Enchant bar

      1. Go to the back of your Enchant soundbar (800 or 1300)
      2. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button for 2 seconds.

      2. Go to the back of your Enchant subwoofer.
      3. Press the "Subwoofer pairing" button.

      1. The small LED indicator will start to flash rapidly and when the connection is successful, it will be a steady light.

      You now have more bass performance and can enjoy deeper richer sound!
    3. 1. Power on your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 2. There are two ways to enter Bluetooth pairing mode on your Enchant soundbar. 2.1.     5. Daily Care instructions for Citation speakers fabric (wool)

      Daily care and immediate stain removal will ensure that your Harman/Kardon Citation wool upholstery will keep looking good for many years.
      Never use undiluted cleaning agents, bleaching agents, ammonia or soap intended for hard surfaces, as this may damage the fabric and Citation speaker itself!

      Many types of stain can be removed using warm water with a microfiber cloth (not too wet).

      Stain removal guide

      If you act quickly with any stains on your Citation device then it is not difficult to remove or avoid any spill/stains.
      Here is how to do it.

      1. First, soak up the liquid with an absorbent napkin or Microfiber cloth.
      2. For dried stains use a spoon to roughen the surface.
        1. To avoid the stain spreading further start from the edge of the stain working towards the middle.
      3. WARNING!
        1. Be careful when using solvents, because these could dissolve the upholstery material beneath.

      Regular and normal cleaning

      Vacuum frequently every week is the best way to keep the Harman/Kardon Citation fabric intact or use a varm wet Microfiber cloth.
      When using a vacuum cleaner, remember to set the power to half which is most appropriated to use for Citation devices (this will not harm the design or fabric).

      These tips are purely recommendations and cannot guarantee 100% stain removal on your Harman/Kardon Citation device.
      In all cases, we recommend contacting a professional cleaning company, particularly for bigger stains and for thorough cleaning the wool fabric and speaker.

    7. Press and hold the 'Volume +' and 'Bluetooth' buttons simultaneously for > 2 seconds (> 5 seconds for the Onyx Studio 8), until the speaker powers off.
      The Onyx Studio is now reset to factory settings.
    8. Resetting the SOUNDSTICKS 4 to Factory Settings

      1. The unit must be on
      2. Press and hold Power and Bluetooth buttons for > 10 seconds
      3. The unit is reset
    9. On the bottom of your ADAPT+ there is a reset button. Hold it down for 5 seconds, until the round button LED lights up in white. The product is now reset and ready to be set up again.
    10. Resetting the device

      1. In any source mode, press and hold the power button power and Source button source for 5 seconds.
      2. When the factory settings restore is complete, the soundbar automatically turns off and restarts.
      3. You can now set it up via Google Home app Google Home app again or connect any new Bluetooth devices.
    11. 1. Power on the Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 2. In any source mode, press the power and source button for 5 seconds. 3. The Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 will power off automatically and turn on again. 4. Your device is now reset back to default Factory settings. 5. You can now redo the setup through the Google Home app or pair with a new smartphone or tablet.
    12. What you need first

      Adding your Enchant soundbar to your Wi-Fi

      1. Open the Google Home appGoogle Home app

      1. Click on "ADD" to connect your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar to your Wi-Fi network.
      2. Follow the instructions on screen and enjoy beautiful sound using Chromecast technology.


      Setup your enchant
    13. Download the Google Home app, available for iOS and Android versions. 1. Open the Google Home app. 2. Plug in power for your Enchant 800 or Enchant 1300 Soundbar. 3. Enable Bluetooth. 3.1. Enable Location service on your phone and permit Google Home app to view your location (Android only). 4. Click setup device in your Google Home app. 5. Follow the instructions provided in the app, and enjoy Chromecast streaming for your Enchant soundbar!

    15. Before you start

      • Remove any interference that might be blocking the Soundbar side-firing speakers.
      • Any ambient noise or sounds that could disrupt the calibration needs to be out of the room.
      • In case you are moving the Enchant Soundbar you will need to calibrate the sound again.
      • If something went wrong, you can always delete the calibration settings by resetting the system.
        • Press and hold Power - button and  Soruce button down for 5 seconds.
        • This will delete all settings, including the Wi-Fi connection.


      How to use the MultiBeam feature

      1. Press and hold the CALIBRATION iconbutton for 3 seconds.
        1. On the Enchant display a timer will start counting down from 3 to 0 (Once hitting 0 the Calibration will begin).

      1. The calibration takes around 60 seconds before it is complete. While calibrating you will hear some noises coming from the speaker.
      2. When finished the display on the Enchant Soundbar will say "DONE"

       
    16. Make sure you disable AP/Client isolation on your Access Point / Extender and that Multicast forwarding is not disabled between the W-Fi networks. However, we cannot guarantee than streaming will work flawless as Extender networks are tricky and can cause many issues. Always use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network extender for best results.
    17. If you are having problems playing music after setting up a new speaker (no matter what connection is used, Ethernet, Wi-Fi), please restart the Harman Kardon Controller app after the speaker setup is complete.
    18. Some third-party apps do not support volume changing when your smart device is in lock screen mode.
    19. If you are experience this message, please power cycle the Wi-Fi router and speaker(s). Disconnect the devices' power cable for 10 seconds and then reconnect them. Once the router and speaker(s) completely boots up, please try to setup again.
    20. This feature is not yet implemented in our Harman Kardon Allure or Allure portable speaker. Future updates might include this option, so we advise keeping an eye on the release notes in the HK Alexa Setup app about possible future firmware updates.
    21. Unfortunately, some Huawei phones are not able to stream music from the HK Controller app to 1st generation Omni speakers. However, the new Omni 10+, 20+, and 50+ have fixed this issue, and you will be able to stream music to them using your Huawei phone.
    22. It is not possible to use the speaker while installing it to your WiFi network. Once you have successfully connected to the WiFi network, you can use Bluetooth and AUX again.
    23. Make sure that both speakers are using the same network technology, either Ethernet or WiFi. Mixing them will increase music loading time.
    24. DVD and Blu-ray Disc copy protection only allows analog video output up to 576p resolution when playing DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. To view video at higher resolutions use the AVR’s HDMI inputs and HDMI output instead of its component video inputs and output.
    25. Please make sure that if you use 5GHz or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, all your speakers are connected to either 2.4GHz or all are connected to 5GHz Wi-Fi to have the best performance.
